About Me

Hey! So Glad You’re Here.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin said, “We are not human beings on a spiritual journey; we are spiritual beings on a human journey.” I resonate with being a spiritual being on this journey of being human. And what a gift it is to be human. I celebrate the vulnerability, the finitude, the particularity of being human. At the same time I celebrate being part of something “more,” the Great Unfolding, the Infinite Mystery. It is out of that voice I decided to start sharing thoughts and practices I have found helpful.

I come from the Christian lineage and have served as a pastor for more than 30 years. I have always been spiritually curious and have read outside my lineage as well as different streams within Christianity. I have appreciated Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant writers, mostly from the mystic streams. I have a daily contemplative practice including meditation, prayer, lectio divina, journaling, and reading. I studied for two years in the Living School with Father Richard Rohr, The Reverend Dr. Cynthia Bourgeault, Dr. James Finley, and The Reverend Dr. Barbara Holmes. I then studied as part of an Introductory Wisdom School with The Reverend Dr. Cynthia Bourgeault. These served to remind me that I am only just beginning this path of discovery.

Views expressed here are my own. If you find this site helpful, I am delighted. If you do not, I wish you the best in finding a more helpful source! In any case, may your spiritual journey be a beautiful one.
